The phillies should rebuild its time. I don't know what amaro is waiting for but it's beyond time. They are too old and the farm system is really weak. They need to get faster and more athletic as well. They need a SS, a catcher, and they need OF depth. They also could use SP help and obviously bullpen help. That's a lot of needs before they are a winning team again. Hopefully amaro is aware of this and fills those holes who knows. 

Flyers sucky road play continues

The Flyers kept up their hideous play on the road last night by getting blown out in Toronto against the Maple Leafs losing 5-2 and having their star goalie Ilya Bryzgalov pulled as well as he gave up 4 goals last night. The Flyers didn't bother to show up last night and had no energy whatsoever. Their captain continues to be non existent as he did nothing last night. Giroux continues to suck on the season. This road trip will decide if they will make the playoffs or not and it has not gotten off to the right start. They play in Winnipeg against the Jets at 8:PM tonight. This is a must win for the Flyers. I don't see the Flyers beating the New Jersey Devils in New Jersey on Friday night they are the top team in the East and play very well against the Flyers. Giroux has to wake the hell up and be the scorer that we thought he is or I don't want to re-sign him when his deal is up after next season. Giroux has to show me that I still want him on the Flyers. I hope Bryz doesn't struggle now or Flyers are freakin screwed. I hope our GM makes up to get some much needed offense in here like getting Bobby Ryan, or Ryan Getzlaf or something. He can't wait till Hartnell and Mez to be back it will be too late by then. He has to make a move now. The Flyers special teams continues to be hideous and not special at all. The Flyers had a 5 min PP and of course did nothing with it. The Flyers could have a 5 on 1 PP and come up empty most likely. Flyers stop calling it the Peco Power Play their is no power in the Power Play once whatsoever. It is the worst PP in the NHL by far. If they score a PP goal it's a freakin miracle. I don't have a good feeling about tonight and I think it will be another loss. I say 4-1 Jets. I hope I am wrong but I don't see it.

Flyers suck at the moment

The Flyers currently suck at the moment. They have no special teams or offense of any kind this year. They have scored 2 goals or less in almost every game this season. They are missing Scott Hartnell badly but even when he plays they still need a scorer. Flyers have to do what it takes to land Bobby Ryan of Anaheim, or Corey Perry of Anaheim or Jerome Iginla of the Calgary Flames. Their top players like Claude Giroux and Danny Briere haven't done crap this year. Claude Giroux just has 3 goals and 4 assists for 7 pts in 11 games he hasn't stepped up and done anything. Danny Briere has just 3 pts in 7 games in 1 goal and 2 assists. If the Flyers want to make the playoffs they must get a proven scorer. They currently rank tied for 17th in the league with just 25 goals on the season. That is pretty horrible. They better beat Carolina and Toronto next if they want to make the playoffs. This 6 game road trip coming up is a make or break for the Flyers. If Flyers suck on the road trip their season is over for sure. Flyers must get 4 wins at the LEAST if they want to make the playoffs. The season is on the line in the next 2 weeks. With just 37 games left that isn't a lot of time to afford a losing streak. Flyers must get a ton of points in the next couple of weeks if they want to be successful. If not just tank the season and cut salary and get a high draft pick. We will see what happens. Tomorrow is a must win against Carolina no excuses can't lose to a shitty Hurricanes team. With the Flyers having no offense whatsoever it wouldn't surprise me if Carolina won though.

Flyers Review

The Philadelphia Flyers played really well last night in beating a very good Tampa Bay Lightning team. Their defense played well and Bryz continues to play well. I hope the Flyers can continue to play well and continue to get back in the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference. They play the Florida Panthers tomorrow night at home in another game they should win. We will see what happens tomorrow night. Flyers are finally playing like the team everyone thought coming out of the lockout. Can't wait till Scott Hartnell Andres Meszaros comes back then the team could be a force in the Eastern Conference. Let's go Flyers beat the Florida Panthers tomorrow night. 

Philadelphia Flyers talk

The Philadelphia Flyers are playing the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight at the Wells Fargo Center and this is a big game for the Flyers. They are seeing the top PP team in the NHL and the top scoring team in the NHL who average over 4 goals a game. The Flyers have to do a good job staying out of the box if they want to beat the Lightning. They also have to do a good job defensively as well and don't be sloppy at all. If the Flyers can beat the Lightning they could have a nice run coming up to get back in the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference. Let's hope Bryz can keep playing well too that is key as well. I am really hoping for a Flyers win tonight so we can see a winning streak. Let's hope that happens.
